There is so much information in existence today that there is a need to specialise tests iq » only on a negligible fraction of human activity. Thus, general (sometimes even average) knowledge, in many respects, eludes us.

Human intelligence therefore gets a workout more and more. What do you think? Were people also so intelligent in the past? Would they mensa iq test » also be able to successfully pass an IQ test that we today complete without so much as a blink of the eye with an average IQ score? Would they even understand IQ tests?

Are we accumulating intelligence?

It is interesting that, like the volume of online iq tests » education (i.e. knowledge), the average IQ score is also growing over time. This means that our generation would complete iq test online » the same IQ test far better , than the previous generation. This must be taken into account, and in order to be able to also compare you IQ with historically important personalities, it is necessary to adjust intelligence tests and the calculation of the IQ occasionally on line iq test » to match the given generation. This rise in average intelligence is known as the Flynn effect . There may be a number of reasons for this phenomenon, but none of them have been scientifically proven – we live far healthier lives, are more educated, take iq test » live in smaller families, etc.
